Leh to Kargil (Approx. 220 km 5-6 hours) Begin your journey from Leh, heading west towards Kargil. Kargil to Padum (Approx. 240 km 8-10 hours) From Kargil, take the rugged road towards Suru Valley, passing Pensi La Pass (4,400m).Padum to Purne (Approx. 50 km 2-3 hours) From Padum, follow the Tsarap River towards Purne, a remote village with glimpses of Gonbo Rongjon, a sacred peak where Tara Mountain Sarai Purne is located at.
